Claire Stewart, a California Potter, went by the name Sorcha Boru and her pieces were signed "SBS" (Sorcha Boru Studios). Her studio ran from the 1930's to 1940's. She made child like figures (even when they were brides and grooms) and seems to have done many sets of salt and peppers. This little girl is doing "loves me, loves me not" with a daisy and the little boy holds a large brimmed hat in his left hand, and what looks like a trowel in his right. Both children are signed  "SBS". A pair of sweet little farm children. They will keep you happy.
