Vintage Early Mark Meriden Silver Plate Covered Butter Dish w/ Cow Finial

Purchased from a prominent San Diego estate. Offered is a Victorian era Meriden quadtriple silver plate butter dish.
Stands almost 7 inches tall and with handles a little more than 10 inches wide. Lid fits securely. Has a bright finish but could use a more detailed polish. Lovely Lions foot feet and Lion with crown decoration. Handles feature bearded gargoyles. No significant problems, no dents or deep scratches. No repairs evident. Overall terrific estate condition!
