Vintage Wilcox Meriden Silverplated Butter/Caviar Server, Footed Domed Roll-Top

Description

This lovely estate find represents an elegant bygone era. The markings on the bottom read: Wilcox Meriden 2001. The scroll feet have a flower motif, and the domed top has floral and scroll etchings. The height measures 6 1/2” and the width 5 1/2”. The Silver plate needs a bit more polishing however. The Domed Roll-Top allows for a hands off approach to serving. For butter or caviar or a lovely cheese, there are 2 utensil hooks on the side. One is slightly bent, so it may need to be opened up a bit. And there is a slight dent on the side which perhaps could be corrected. Otherwise a most unique specimen!
