Vintage/Antique Silver Plated Butter Dish with Cover. Item is tarnished and shows typical scratches, dings and wear for an item of its age.
Please review photos carefully on this item to fully evaluate the condition!
The dark spot on the inside of the dish does appear to reveal the metal BENEATH the silver plate.
Overall this is a lovely piece and would be a beautiful display item, though probably not recommended for serving food due to the exposed under layer on the interior. (I do not know what the internal metal composition is).

I am careful to prepare fragile items for shipping so that they arrive safely. While I will try to keep shipping costs as low as possible, my priority is for items to arrive in good condition. I reserve the right to make the decision to ship in the quality I deem necessary for the item to arrive safely. Buyer's shipping cost will not exceed amount quoted, unless a gross error has been made, in which case buyer will be contacted before shipment is made. I do use the global shipping program GSP through eBay for shipping internationally. I DO NOT ship to countries not listed in the GSP! Please do not contact me and ask me to sell an item you have seen on this platform outside of eBay. All communication should be done through eBay messages.
In the case of an item being damaged in shipping, please photograph package (including clear photos of any damage), contents, and packaging material. DO NOT DISCARD ANYTHING! Contact me immediately in order to proceed with an insurance claim with carrier. Photos and original package may be required before any reimbursement is issued.
